There are few cars in the world that are as coveted as a Bugatti. This exclusive automaker is known for its stylish designs and record-breaking speed. However, these vehicles come with a premium price tag that puts them out of the reach of many. Thankfully, there are used bugatti for sale that are more affordable than the brand’s new models. These cars offer the same state-of-the-art technology and unbeatable stats as their new counterparts, but at a more reasonable price.
Founded in 1909, Bugatti is a French automotive manufacturer located in Molsheim, France. The company was originally founded as an airplane parts manufacturer, but it later began producing luxury sports cars. After the death of Ettore Bugatti in 1947 and his son Jean in 1939, the company struggled financially. It was eventually purchased by an Italian entrepreneur in 1987 and revived as a producer of limited-production, exclusive automobiles. Today, the Bugatti name is owned by Volkswagen Group, and it continues to produce exceptional sports cars.
The first regular production model to use the Bugatti Veyron name was the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. It was introduced at the 2005 Paris Motor Show and was produced from 2007 through 2015. At the time, it was the fastest car in the world, capable of reaching a top speed of 257 miles per hour.
The Veyron was a two-seater with a rear-wheel drive layout and a four-litre W16 engine capable of producing over 1,500 horsepower. It was equipped with a variety of advanced features, including active suspension, a navigation system, and Bluetooth connectivity. The car also had a retractable hardtop and front and rear parking sensors.
In addition to its impressive performance, the Veyron had a luxurious interior featuring leather seats and a high-definition screen. The car also had a number of convenience features, such as a dual-zone automatic climate control and an integrated key fob.
While the Veyron was a great vehicle, it did not achieve the best fuel economy amongst its class. In fact, it only managed to get 8 mpg in the city and 14 mpg on the highway. However, the car’s high-speed capabilities meant that it would empty its 26.4-gallon tank in just over 12 minutes of driving.
The latest vehicle from Bugatti is the Chiron Sport, a bold evolution of the original Veyron. Its sculptural qualities are perfectly complemented by its quad-turbo W16 engine that can effortlessly glide at 218 mph (350 km/h). In order to achieve this, the car was made lighter, which included using carbon fiber windshield wiper arms and other small changes.
A one-of-a-kind Bugatti Chiron was auctioned for more than $10 million at the RM Paris collector car auction last week, a record for a new vehicle. The auction price was more than double the previous record set for a new Bugatti when the Veyron Profile was sold at auction in 2016. This one-of-a-kind car is one of only seven to ever leave the factory.
